Donald “Bud” Biddinger age 74, of Ashland, died Monday May 9, 2011 at his residence surrounded by his loving family following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on September 21, 1936 in Savannah, the son of Eugene O. and Florence (Light) Biddinger. Bud had been a life long residence of Ashland County and a member of the First Presbyterian Church. He had been employed with the Ashland City Schools for 17 years as a custodian, and had previously been employed with the Ashland Times Gazette for 13 years and also Garber Brothers for over 13 years. Bud enjoyed gardening, landscaping and woodworking.
On November 27, 1987 Bud married Diane (Bender) Biddinger who survives. Other survivors include his daughter, Debra Biddinger (Rob Thurmon) of Ashland; step- sons, Randy (Mickie) Miller of Ashland, Rick (Jamie) Miller of Ashland; step grandchildren, Wes (Bethany) Miller, Shelbi Miller, Callie Miller, Chase Miller, Travis (Kelly) Eighinger, and Jen (Justin) Landis; his five step great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; along with his beloved cat Fluffy.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son and sister Bonnie Pearce.
