Donald Blasey, age 80, of Livermore passed away on Thursday August 27, 2020 at The Bridges at Mission in Mission, Texas. Donald Eugene Blasey, the son of Durl Delos and Ethel Mae (Anderson) Blasey, was born on February 10, 1940 in Rockwell City, Iowa. Don served in the U.S. Air Force from 1958-1964. He had worked as a truck driver for Hunt Truckline. On March 20, 2010 Don was united in marriage with Elaine Bruellman Wichtendahl in Harlingen, Texas. Don was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Livermore American Legion. He enjoyed traveling, gardening, dancing, woodworking and coin collecting. Left to cherish Don’s memory is his wife of 10 years, Elaine; children, Sherri Jonasz of Orlando, FL, Steven (June) Blasey of Clarksville, TN and Stacey (Donnie) Ellis of Puyallup, WA and; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and a brother, Jim (Jennie) Blasey of Newton. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, David, Robert and Dennis Blasey.
