Donald Bayard Ross, on January 09th, 2014, of Delanco, NJ died at age 89 after a long illness. Beloved husband of 67 years of Alice(née Nixon). Devoted father of Donald R Ross(Linda), and Brian N Ross(Brigitte). Loving grandfather of April(Harry), Emily(Mark), Sarah(Rudy).
Dear brother of Marylyn Stewart of Basking Ridge, NJ. Also survived by great- grandchildren Nathaniel, Juliet, Christian, and Jaxon. Mr Ross was a veteran of World War II and served in the Occupation of Japan force being certified as a Bomb Sight Mechanic by The Army Air Corp(Air Force). Upon leaving the service he enrolled in Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and graduated with a BSc Pharmacy degree and was licensed to practice Pharmacy in Pa. and NJ. In 1950 he started working for Worrell’s Pharmacy, Blackwood, NJ and in 1974 purchased the Pharmacy with his son Donald R, also a Reg.
Pharmacist to establish Worrell’s Pharmacy Inc. Mr Ross retired from Retail Pharmacy in 2000 after a 50 year career.
