Don was born in Aberdeen, SD. on March 27th 1936. He grew up on a family farm with six siblings. Four sisters and two brothers. He helped with the farm until he joined The US Army in 1956 at 20 yrs old. Don was stationed at Ft. Carson Army Base in Colorado Springs, CO.
Don has a lot of family and friends. His friends consist of many lifelong friends from all his past hobbies, to his neighbors that he waves to as he sat on his porch. Nobody was ever left out.
He had many hobbies. Stock car racing, dog racing, bowling, fishing, gardening, Denver Bronco games and country dancing. He always enjoyed staying busy doing something. He was not one to just sit around. He loved life and the people he met along the way.
Don is preceded in death by his Wife, Mother, Father, five siblings and two children. Don is survived by 1 sister (Randy) that is 94 yrs old, 3 children and many grandchildren.
He will be missed by anyone that called him Dad, Grandpa or Friend!
