Donald A. Arthur, Jr., 58, of Virginia, died Friday, August 4, 2017, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
He was born Jan. 8, 1959, in Jacksonville, the son of Donald Arland and Lena Young Arthur.
He is survived by two children, Crystal Maurer of New Berlin, and Donald Arland (Katharine) Maurer of Springfield; five grandchildren, Laci, Hannah and Max Eliason all of New Berlin, and Enola Wilson and Peyton Maurer both of Springfield; two brothers, David Arthur and Brian Arthur both of Virginia; sister, Sheila (Mark) Force of Virginia; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Butch Arthur and Danny Arthur; and one sister, Sandra Young.
