Dona Evelyn Bolyard Knotts, 95 of Marquess Road died peacefully on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at Heartland of Preston County with family members at her side. She was born September 13, 1917 on Laurel Mountain and was the last surviving child of the late Willie Talbert and Ellie Mandy Funk Bolyard. She prided herself on working hard as a mother and housewife with her husband, a coal mining farmer, Howard C. Knotts, who died in 1987.
