Don Lawrence Henriksen, 66, of Great Falls, passed away on August 12, 2015 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Turner, MT on February 15, 1949 to Clarence Henriksen and Mae McHoes, Don grew up in Havre, MT, graduating from the local high school. He worked for the railroad for his entire career, considering himself a “lifetime railroader”. On June 23, 2008 he married his second wife Gladys (Martie) Giesick.
Don enjoyed the company of others, making friends at the local bar, enjoying the company of women, and always having fun.
Survivors include his loving wife Gladys (Martie); daughters, Christine McCrea (Vincent Schaefer) of Three Forks, MT, Shellie Wolf of Great Falls, MT, Vicki (Chris) Avsec of Columbia Falls, MT; son, Clarence (Kayla) Henriksen of Columbia Falls, MT; sisters, Gertrude Clark of Havre, MT, Liz Borst of Great Falls, MT, Lorice Rutter, Kim Knudson of Plains, MT; brothers, Tom Henriksen of Livingston, MT and Smokey Henriksen of Browning, MT; five step-children; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Don was preceded in death by his parents; twin brother John; brothers, Elmer and Dave; sister, Donna.
