Dominick Fromularo of Gulf Breeze FL passed away on 21 December 2014 at his home in The Villas. He was born in New York City on 12 January 1923 to Gerardo and Giovanna Fromularo who emigrated from Italy. He was one of 14 siblings and he joined the Army in September 1940 and served in the infantry as an infantry squad leader with the 7th Infantry. His combat tours were in the Aleutian Battles of the North Pacific for two years. The Aleutian Island Campaign ended in August 1944 and it marked the first theatre wide victory for the Allies and ended Japan’s only campaign in the Western Hemisphere.
