KEYPORT – DOMENICA “Dolly” BUONAGURO GRANATA died Friday April 24, 2009 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. She was 97.
Born in Manhattan, NY, she resided there and Holmdel before moving to Keyport 60 years ago.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, and attended Jesus the Lord Church with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband Patrick E. Granata in 1995, and by her daughter, Patricia Ann Granata in 1948.
Surviving are her son, Louis and his wife Carol Ann of Matawan; her daughter, Barbara Jane and her husband Joseph Schober of West Palm Beach, FL; two sisters, Angelina Fusco of Brooklyn, NY and Louise Buonaguro of Long Island, NY; a brother-in-law, Domenic Bianco of Steubenville, Ohio; six grandchildren, Patricia Ann Eisner, Anna Marie Lugo, Kimberly Granata, Nina Anschuetz, Lisa Truett and William Grasso; six great grandchildren, Lauren, Kayla, Olivia, Nolan, Colin and Gabriella; as well as many nieces and nephews.
