Dolores R. Yanez, age 89, went home to be with the Lord December 9, 2018 at Harlingen Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Native of San Martin Hidalgo, Mexico, born on April 23, 1929, was a lifelong resident of Harlingen. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister who will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her children who cherish her beautiful memory, Oralia Silva, Jose Angel Yanez (Teresa), Reynaldo Yanez (Lupita), Gloria Casiano (Estevan), Fernando Yanez, & Noe Yanez (Rosie); her grandchildren, Carmen Leija & Manuel Silva, Priscilla Herrera, Adriana Natera, Rachel Yanez & Veronica Yanez, Belinda Salas, Jacob Casiano, Lori Ann Casiano, Brandon & Anthony Yanez, Fernando Yanez Jr. & Yvette Yanez, Dolores Guajardo, Christina Salinas, Beverly Yanez. She is also survived by 27 great grandchildren and a half brother, Roberto Guzman.
Dolores is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jose R. Yanez; her son, Benito Yanez, and a grandson, Reynaldo Abel Yanez Jr.
