Dolores Victoria Smith, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, joined her soulmate on March 16, 2016. She was born on April 12, 1946 in Anaconda, MT to Jesus and Juaquina Rodriguez. She married Brent Smith on May 13, 1964. Together, they raised 4 children; Tracy (Harry) Nunn, Todd (Kristy) Smith, Jessica (Aaron) Johnson, and Brent Jr. (Michelle) Smith. They relocated to Ogden, UT in 1969 where they built a life and raised their family.
She worked at Iomega followed by West Test Engineering before retiring to care for her husband. She enjoyed baking, crocheting, trips to Wendover with her husband, being with her dogs, Flash and Butch, as well as feeding anyone who entered their home.
She was a devoted grandma to her 7 grandchildren; Chase, Kylee, Kaden, Tyson, Hunter, Trinity, and Jaida. They were the loves of her life. You always knew where you stood with Dolores. She was strong, loved her family fiercely, and had a very forgiving heart.
She is survived by her children, grandchildren, 4 sisters; Andrea, Adela, Cecilia, and Anita, and a brother, Ruben, and lifelong friend, Josie Sepulveda. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 2 sisters, Mary and Chello, 4 brothers; Caletono, Junior, Tony, and Ray, and a very special son, Cory Owens.
