Dolores R. Nusbaum Farver, 71, of Westminster, died Sunday, April 16, 2017, at Gilchrist Hospice in Towson.  Born November 24, 1945 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Nusbaum Buckingham and Harry Tivis Buckingham.  She was the loving wife of Raymond O. “Ray” Farver, her husband of 53 years.

She retired from Black and Decker in 2006 after 40 years of service.  She loved spending time with family and friends.  She enjoyed puzzles, painting, reading and watching T.V.  She enjoyed watching and feeding the birds and squirrels.  One of her biggest loves were her pets Benji, Maggie and Sammy.  She loved animals of all kinds.  She was a graduate of Westminster High School; Class of 1963 and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a son Daniel R. Farver and friend Julie of Westminster, brother Tivis R. Buckingham, sister Karen E. Buckingham Evans and husband Michael, all of Westminster, nephews Mark Pittenger and Josh Evans and wife Anna, nieces Jennifer Evans, Missy Bollinger and JoAnn Peters, great-nephews Wyatt and Owen Evans and an aunt, Beulah Shriver.  Also survived by brothers-in-law Jim and Ralph Farver and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Alice and Norman Pittenger.

She was predeceased by mother-in-law Isabelle “Mommy” Farver and an aunt, Helen Green.
