MUNCIE – Dolores Lorraine Hall-Branta-Covey was born in Wisconsin, April 22, 1920, to Edward and Clara Hall and passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 23, 2013. Dolores was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Arthur Lawrence Branta. Dolores married a second time to Elwood Covey who preceded her in death.

      Dolores moved from Wisconsin to Florida at age 55 and lived there for 35 years. She enjoyed her retirement from the Wisconsin Gas Company by gardening and traveling summers across the U.S. in her R.V.

     She is survived by her daughter Sharon Rose Gonyon, husband Roy, and her daughter Gloria Jean Taylor, husband Chet. She loved her family and grandchildren, Scott J. Olszewski, his wife Lorrie, John J. Olszewski, his wife Dana, Jeana R. French, her husband, Tory, Michael C. Ordish, his wife Barbara, (B.J.), and Michelle R. Zimmer and her fiancée Robbie.

     She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Sharrell Rose Olszewski.

     Dolores was blessed by great grandchildren Ashley, Jake, Joey, Mitchell, Carissa, Austin, Nolan, Emma, Casey, Clair, Leila, Scott, Wesley, Alyssa and Isabelle. She has great great twin grandsons, Levi and Graham. 

     Dolores was blessed with a second family, Elaine, Cheri, Patty and Richard as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren gifted to her in her second marriage.

     Dolores moved from The Villages of Lady Lake, Florida where she resided with her husband Art and then later her husband Elwood (Woody) until she felt it was time to be with her family in Muncie. Dolores has lived in Muncie with her daughter and son-in-law for the last few years and enjoyed meeting and making many new and wonderful friends.

     Dolores was tenacious, strong, loving, kind and gifted. She loved life to the fullest and we will miss this wonderful amazing woman. You could say, though she came from another era where technology was a radio only, that she was truly a woman who lived in the NOW! She loved Facebook and her beloved computers’. She was truly one of a kind.

     May you rest in peace in the arms of Jesus and walk beside your loved ones in heaven, till we meet again…Your loving family, we will miss you always.
