Dolores L. Tweitmann, 87, of Bayville, Berkeley Twp., NJ, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at home. Born in Jersey City, NJ, she lived in West New York, NJ and Cliffside Park, NJ before moving to Bayville permanently in 2000. She had summered in Bayville since 1960. Dolores was a Registered Nurse for the West New York Board of Education for 39 years, retiring in 1994.
She was a graduate of St. Francis School of Nursing Class of 1951 and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Jersey City State College and her Master’s Degree in Nursing from Bingham College, CT. Dolores was a parishioner of St. Barnabas RC Church, Bayville, NJ. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry T. Tweitmann, in 2006 and her daughter Eileen Tweitmann in 2015. Dolores is survived by her daughter and son in law Linda and Wayne Sciarratta of Forked River, NJ, a granddaughter Aja Tweitmann-LaFalce and her husband Rob LaFalce and 3 great grandchildren Aiden, Jaydan and Juliana.
