Dolores L. Borkowski, 79, of South Bend, IN, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2005 in her home.
She was born on July 9, 1926 to the late John H. and Louise (Majewski) Borkowski in South Bend, IN, and was lifelong resident. Along with her parents, one brother, Richard Borkowski also preceded her in death.
Ms. Borkowski retired in 1991 from Kmart, after 25 years of employment.
She is survived by one sister, Adeline Nemeth of South Bend, IN; one niece, Constance M. (Charlie) Carter of LaPorte, IN; one nephew, John R. (Rosemary) Borkowski of New Carlisle, IN; and two great-nephews, Richard and Joseph Borkowski.
Ms. Borkowski was a member of St. John the Baptist Parish, where she belonged to the Retirees Club and was a former member of the Altar Rosary Society. She graduated from South Bend Central High School in 1944. Dolores enjoyed fishing and the companionship of her dog.
