Dolores Jean Donaldson age, 78, of Ashland, died Sunday October 9, 2011 at Crystal Care Center. She was born August 9, 1933 in Dallas Center, Iowa, the daughter of Ralph and Ruth (Farver) Staley. Mrs. Donaldson had been a Homemaker and employed with Heartland Home as a cook for over 20 years. She had been a member of the Calvary Baptist Church since 1954 and a Sunday school teacher for 40 years.
On November 10, 1954 Dolores married Hutson Donaldson who preceded her in death in 1999. Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Diane (Sid) Clay of Columbus, Ohio; sons and daughter in- law, Allen Donaldson of Ashland, Joe (Patricia) Donaldson of Ashland, Darren Donaldson of Ashland; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren. Also surviving are her brother Donald E. and Sandy Staley of Covington, Ohio; his sister, Judy A. Staley; along with her sister in- law Judith Staley.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents; son, Craig Donaldson; and brother Richard W. (Dick) Staley.
