Dolores “Dorie” DeVries, age 79, passed away Monday evening, February 22, 2016 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence in Kalamazoo. She was born on February 29, 1936, in Kalamazoo, MI a daughter of Joseph and Norine (Wagonmaker) DeVries and had been a lifelong area resident. Dorie was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, LaRoy J. DeVries. Surviving are three sisters, Pat Howard, Marian Peterson and Gertrude Persing all of Kalamazoo and several nieces and nephews.
