Dolly Rietkerk she was born January 30, 1937 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of the late Adam Ray and Dortha Elliott Grile and had been a lifelong resident of the area. She was a member of Faith Chapel, worked for 20 years as a part-time planter for DenHartigh greenhouse and enjoyed piano music, gardening, knitting and watching the birds. On July 21, 1956, she married William V. RietKerk, who survives.
She is also survived by their children, Randy Laurie RietKerk of Scotts, Mark RietKerk of Kalamazoo, Christine Michael Smith of Schoolcraft and Lisa Joseph Gall of Kalamazoo; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Grile and Albert Grile; nieces and nephews. Dolly was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Erin Joy and her sister, Viola “Tootsie” Dack.
