Diata “Dita” Gordon, age 89, peacefully entered eternal life on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. Diata was born on June 13, 1933 in Schischowka, Ukraine to Jakob and Hulda (Fitz) Neumann. In 1952, Diata, along with her mother and sister, immigrated from Germany to Bay City where she met her husband, Alfred Klemm (a recent immigrant) at Zion Lutheran Church. She lived life with the heart of a servant as a member of Faith Lutheran Church where she had served on the altar guild and currently maintained membership in her FLAFF group. Diata was generous and kind and was much loved and appreciated for that, as well as her tasty meals that were shared amongst family and friends. She was very social and was grateful for everyone and everything.

Diata is survived by her children, Dinah Horning and Ingrid (Scott) Hacker as well as her grandchildren, Arin Horning, Stacy (Mike) Curtis, Kyle Hacker, Adam (Sarah) Klemm and Jason (Michelle) Klemm. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Tayler Horning, Taryn Inman, Tyler, Kylie and Dominac Klemm and Gage and Garren Curtis, as well as her sister, Adina Willenbrock of Germany and many cherished relatives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Alfred Klemm and Richard Gordon; sisters, Maria, Lidia and Olga; her son, Fred D. Klemm and her grandchildren Jeremy and Nicole Klemm.
