Diane Spier, of Drasco, died peacefully in her home on Dry Mountain Road after a long struggle with cancer. Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota March 2, 1948, Diane was 67 at the time of her death.
Diane is survived by her husband of thirty-five years, Billy Spier; one sister, Sally Kundert of Minneapolis; one step-daughter, Kimberly (Philip) Mills of Las Vegas; one niece; six grandchildren; and many extended relatives and friends.
Diane was a nurse for many years, and she volunteered at many charities. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, playing guitar and singing with friends. Diane very much enjoyed teaching the youth at Sunday School. She also dearly loved her animals.
Wherefore, my beloved brethren, if ye have not charity ye have nothing. But charity is the pure love of Christ, and it endureth forever; and whoso is found possessed of it at the last day, it shall be well with him.
