Devin McKoy, 38, of Middletown, departed from us peacefully on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at his home. Born in New York, NY, he was the son of Helen McKoy of New York, NY and the late Weldon McKoy, Sr. Devin graduated from Vinal Technical High School, Class of 1996. He was a kind hearted, gentle man who enjoyed joking around and helping other people. Devin worked as truck driver where driving tractor trailers were his passion. In his extra time he enjoyed listening to music but especially loved to be with his children.
Along with his mother, Devin is survived by his fiancé, Kendra Skubel of Middletown; three daughters, Daisha McKoy, Gianna R. Sutcliffe and Maliyah J. McKoy, all of Middletown; a stepson, Jason Ruffino of Cape Cod, MA; three brothers, Garry McKoy of Middlefield, Weldon McKoy, Jr. of New Haven and Marcus McKoy of New London; a sister, Barbara A. McKoy of Cromwell; a niece, Lashelle K. McKoy of Middletown; a great nephew, Elias J. Bazzle of Middletown and a host of extended family and friends.
