Desire’e Dawn Lawson, 18, went to be with God March 31, 2016. She was born October 6, 1997 to Zachary Antonio Lawson and Angel Lynn Butler in Terre Haute.
Desire’e was a senior at North High School, where she attended Girls of Excellence. She loved to sing and play guitar. She enjoyed watching movies and listening to music. She had a great sense of humor and was always full of laughter. She loved to take pictures, especially selfies. She also had a love for shoes. She was beautiful inside and out. She was the type of person who truly valued friendship. She will be deeply missed.
Desire’e is preceded in death by her father; and Pappy Dennis “Honey Den” Taylor. She is survived by her mother, Angel Butler and her husband Vincent Butler Jr., Grandmom Catherine Taylor, brothers; Jacob Ngo and Ryder Brannon, sisters; Deanna “Dee Dee’ Cottee, Molly McConnell, Taylor Allen, and Kylee Allen, Uncle “B” Brian Taylor and his wife Amanda, Uncle Otis, Uncle “DJ” Dwayne, Aunt Devin, Aunt Dorcas, Aunt Dawn, and Aunt Heather Smith and her fiancé Larry McElroy, grandma Donna Lawson, grandparents Dwayne and Becky Lawson, great grandmother Alice Gilbert, and great grandma and grandpa Bell.
