He is survived by his parents, Terry Anderson and Mary Ann Murray;Stepfather, Kenny Murray; sister, Amber Anderson of Carrboro, NC; brother, Andrew Anderson of Fayetteville; Grandparents, Clarence Helton, Cleveland, SC, Marie and Robert Anderson, Marietta, SC. Derek was preceded in death by his Grandmother Della “Nanny” Helton.
