Derald A. Hasler, 88, of Odon, IN, formerly of Beech Grove, passed from this life, with loving family at his side, on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at his home. He was born in Odon on December 25, 1932 to J. Denver and Pauline (Ogden) Hasler. Derald married the love of his life, Barbara Ann (McRoberts) Hasler, (He lovingly referred to her as Bubbles) on December 25, 1952.
Derald was a US Air Force veteran. He was a founding member of the Two Cylinder Tractor Club, the White River Valley Antique Association, Odon VFW Post #9627 and was President of Odon High School Class of 1950 Reunion Committee. Derald retired from AT&T.
Family left to cherish Derald’s memory include: one daughter, Vicki (Don) McMichael of Indianapolis; two sons, Christopher Hasler of Indianapolis, and Douglas (Karen) Hasler of Duluth, MN; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one brother, John Dexter Hasler. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Derald was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Barbara Ann Hasler.
