Dennis Maugle, 59, of Quakertown, died suddenly Sat., July 16th in Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. Born in Quakertown, he was the son of the late Ralph L. and Marian R. (Hess) Maugle. He graduated from Quakertown Community High School in 1970 and continued his education at the Culinary Institute of America graduating in 1972. He was a baker for Weis Supermarkets for 34 years. His pride was his grandchildren. He enjoyed spending his time with them going to their school and sporting events and teaching his granddaughter how to cook. He and her would watch Food Network together. He enjoyed visiting casinos, tending to his garden he planted with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed crocheting blankets for his grandchildren. He had a weakness for chocolate. There was a special place in his heart for his family’s dog, Roxy. Surviving: daughter, Randi Moyer, husband Corey of Quakertown; grandchildren, Raeann and Gage; brother, Randy, wife Valerie of Fountainville; forever friends, Karen Maugle and Wesley Johnson.
