Dennis Leon Watson was born to the parentage of the late John L Watson, Sr and Carol C Johnson on December 12, 1959. He grew up in Battle Creek, MI ~ and moved to Hot Springs, AR in the 1980s. Dennis worked for North America Van Lines for 20 years. While in Hot Springs he met and married Louise Hicks, she preceded him in death in 2004. He moved to Greensboro, NC in 2008. He worked for Steele & Vaughn until 2016.
Dennis Watson was a member of Holmes Grove United Methodist Church and served on the Usher Board and United Methodist Men. He also sang in the Men’s Choir.
He was preceded in death by: His father ~ John L Watson, Sr; Siblings ~ Sheryl Regina Calhoun and John L Watson, Jr.

Grandchildren ~ Dyamond Myers, Akron OH; Jihane Myers and Dajanai Myers of Battle Creek, MI; DeAyjah Myers and Dyrell Myers Jr of Charlotte, NC; Great-grandson Jah’vez L. Barber-Myers of Charlotte, NC; Dominick Jr., NiSheen, DaMaree, NiReeon, NiReeal, NiLon and NiReese Myers all of Battle Creek, MI. Jayliana Watson and Jay’Lin Barnett both of Battle Creek, MI; and a host of extended family and friends.
God saw him getting tired, A cure was not to be. He wrapped him in his loving arms, And whispered “Come with me ~ my son.” He suffered much in silence, His spirit did not bend. He faced his pain with courage, until the very end. He tried so hard to stay with us, But his fight was not in vain. God took him to His loving home ~ And freed him from the pain
