Dennis Ingle Sisk was born on October 10th, 1942 in the small town of Rock Springs Wyoming to Helen & Delbert Sisk. On March 31, 2022, he passed away with his wife Peggy, his son Rick, & Daughter-in-law Stephanie by his side.

Dennis spent his childhood in Farson and Basin Wyoming. He attended & graduated from high school in Basin and it was here where he met the love of his life, Peggy Gould, whom he married in 1962. He attended the University of Wyoming, studying engineering, and started his career with US Bureau of Reclamation in Kansas. His son Rick was born in Kansas in 1962, and shortly thereafter, the family moved to Colorado, eventually settling in the Northglenn /Westminster area in 1968. He became a firm Coloradan the remainder of his life. Dennis loved his family and friends, motorcycles, scuba diving, fly fishing, and racketball. He took many motorcycle trips across the country and shared some exciting stories of close encounters on the road, one of which landed him in the hospital.

He also loved tinkering with his semi trucks after starting his own Sweetwater Trucking Co. Many of his now adult nieces & nephews have fond memories of Uncle Denny taking them for a spin on either the motorcycle or in the truck.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents Helen & Delbert Sisk and his twin sisters, Meredith Ackerman and Ardith Hood. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Peggy Sisk and his son Rick (wife Stephanie Sisk). Dennis also leaves behind God Daughter Sandra Schmitt (& Husband Jim), Grandchildren Chelsea, Matthew and Jonathan Sisk, and AJ Schmitt.

Dennis will be truly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
