Dena Jo Zachman of Boerne, TX, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, June 16, 2019. Though she will be missed by those who loved her, she is now perfectly healed and perfectly enjoying her Abba.
Dena Jo Seale was born on February 15, 1962 in Brownfield, TX to Grant and Glena Whitaker Seale.
Dena found joy in creativity. She loved painting, arts and crafts as well as decorating. She also enjoyed reading, especially the time she spent reading her Bible. For outdoor fun Dena enjoyed motorcycle rides through the hill country as well as gardening.
Dena’s heart was to be used by God always and through all situations. He created her with a sharp mind, feisty personality, and a huge heart! Her life’s purpose was to share these gifts with her family and friends. Her ministry was helping hurting women see who they were to, and in, Jesus. All felt it precious to spend time with her, hearing her share truth in direct and kind ways.
Dena is survived by her husband, Mark; her son Chris Paxton, her daughter, Carrie (Paxton) Ramos; her father, Grant Seale; her sisters, Jeana Wood of Rock Springs, TX, Rebecca Bava of Kentucky, and Rachel Sales of Austin, TX.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Glena Seale.
The family would like to deeply express their heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Dr. Amy Lang & her staff, Rosie, Rachel, Olivia, and all of the nurses in the treatment rooms at the START Center in San Antonio who did a remarkable job of keeping Dena alive since 2006.
