Dena J. Shuda, 68, of Germantown Hills, IL passed away at 7:30 am on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on November 12, 1951 in Monroe City, MO to Stanley E. and Mary I. (Morkin) Hawn.
Surviving are her son Daniel (Andrea) Shuda of Pekin; daughter Christina (Paul) Lakin of Germantown Hills; grandchildren Abbey Lakin, Olivia Lakin, Blaine Lakin, Riley Shuda, Jenna Lakin, Walker Shuda, Wyatt Shuda, and Danny Shuda; and brothers Earnie (Denise) Hawn of Germantown Hills, Ed Hawn of Mexico, MO, and Tony Hawn of Kirksville, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughters Tracy and Danielle Shuda, and brother Bob Hawn.
There were two things that were important to Dena; God and family. She made sure her children and grandchildren knew God and how much He loved them. She also let them know how much she loved them, everyday.
