DeMond Montez Smith was born on November 23, 1988 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Glynis Smith and Greg Morrow. He attended Indianapolis public schools. He loved to play sports. He played basketball and football while attending John Marshal Middle School. While attending Arlington High School he receive many achievement Awards.
DeMond liked to have his own money. After graduating from Arlington High School in 2009, he attended Vincennes University. He was working at Marathon Gas Station at the time of his death. He was planning start his own business (Marquis). He impacted the lives of many people was known by many nicknames, Big Man, Fat Damon and Phatz to name a few.
DeMond will be missed by many for all those silly videos and pranks. He was very well known for having $1 bills for his son “Baby Sosa”. Playing video games live, was a favorite past time, but only the violent ones. His smile could light up a room, but what came out of his mouth could be anything.
DeMond Montez Smith departed this life July 19, 2019 at the age of thirty years seven months and twenty seven days.
DeMond was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert L. Smith and father, Greg Morrow.
He is survived by his mother, Glynis T. Smith “Mom Dukes”; grandmother, Hazel R. Smith “Grams”; brothers. Denzel Smith, Sevyn Smith and DeMond M. Smith, Jr. (Dominquie Balls); sisters, Chardnae Cleveland, Ebony Hunter and Ashley Davis; aunts, Monica Davis and Madelyn Smith; uncles, Rommel Smith and Lotrell Smith; a host of cousins including special cousin, Starr Garrett, friends and loved ones.
