Deloris Maxine Parsons Sager of the Mar-Mac community passed away early Tuesday morning, October 26, 2021 at her home, with her beloved family by her side.  Deloris was born in Rhodell, WV to the late Isaac Cox Parsons & Lena Bolen Parsons. Deloris, proudly, served her country and was a veteran of the US Air Force. She was a devoted member of Brogden United Methodist Church, she dearly loved her Sunday School Class at Brogden UMC Church. She was formerly a pre-school teacher at First Baptist Church of Goldsboro. She also served as a volunteer at Wayne Memorial Hospital for 10 plus years.

Deloris is survived by her Loving Husband,  Efton Sager; Daughter, Debra Ann Kornegay and husband, David of Hillsborough, NC; Son,  David Arthur Sager and wife, Catherine of Goldsboro,  Sister, Joanne Snow and husband, Hal of Aiken, SC; Sisters-In-Law, Mary Parsons of Crab Orchard, WV and Donna Parsons of Melbourne, FL;  grandchildren, Jacob David Kornegay and wife, Megan of Raleigh, NC, Lee Ann Sager Myers and husband, Josh of Pikeville, NC; great grandchildren, Jaxon Myers of Pikeville, NC and Charles David Kornegay of Raleigh, NC.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Isaac Cox Parsons, Jr. and Darrell Lee Parsons; half-brothers, Larry Creed Smith and Danny Wagnor.
