Delores was employed at Heartland Nursing Home for 25 years as a Dietary Aid. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye.
Preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Kathleen Helms Jackson; one brother, Fay Homer Jackson.
Surviving is her husband of 42 years, Everett Eugene Drainer of Shinnston; one daughter, Tina Mae and her husband Ronnie E. Merritt, Jr. of Shinnston; one son Joseph Everett Drainer and wife Charlotte of Lumberport; five grandchildren, Kayla and Dustin Merritt, Tyler, Kaitlynn, Matthew Drainer and fiancée Kassie Sendling; brothers, James E. and Michele Jackson of Florida, Rock and Rhonda Lindsey of Clarksburg; two sisters, Brenda and George Gerrard of Hepzibah, Darlene and Rick White of Clarksburg; and several aunts, uncles and nephews.
