Dody loved her chocolate. She always wanted chocolate in her room at the nursing home for the staff. She enjoyed quilting and sewing. When one of her dresses won a State Grange Sponsored Dress Making Contest it was then entered in a National Contest in New York City. She was a great cook. She loved trying recipes from her many cookbooks. One of Dody’s favorite hobbies was shopping.

Greg would mention shopping and Dody would search her purse and come up with a map of whatever mall he mentioned. Greg and his mom would do Lottery scratch offs weekly. Dody loved her gambling. Never won much but sure had fun. Most of all Dody was a loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother and friend. Dody and Bennie are dancing up a storm in Heaven.

The family would like to thank the Staff at Mark Twain Assisted Living and Retirement Home in Moberly, the staff at Ozark Rehab/Health Care Center in Osage Beach, MO and the Hospice staff who helped make Dody’s last three months so peaceful and comfortable.
