Delmer Eugene Dillard, 77, of Trafalgar, died Sunday, November 20, 2016, in Morgantown. He was born January 6, 1939 in Lafayette, Tennessee to his parents, Paul and Molly (Lancaster) Dillard. He was self-employed and owned his own salvage yard, for about 20 years. Delmer enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and spending time with his family.
Delmer is survived by his children, Chuck (Lora Scroggins) Dillard of Martinsville, and Tammy (Frederick) Bay of Springville, one sister, Myrtle Love of Trafalgar, five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma (Barnes) Dillard, a brother, James Dillard, and three sisters, Iola Andrews, Lizzie Bowman, Gracie Elliott.
