Delmas MacArthur “Mac” “Delly” Chinn, 65, Anderson, died September 19, 2008 at Community Hospital in Anderson after a long battle with muscular dystrophy.
He was born May 16, 1943 in Livia, Kentucky, and had lived in this area most of his life. He served with the United States Army. He retired from Guide Lamp Division of General Motors and had previously worked at K-Mart, Nicholson File and Penrod. He attended Anderson First Friends Church and was a member of Hoosier C.B. Club, Central Indiana Cee Bee Social Club, and U.A.W. Local #663
Survivors include his wife, whom he married September 16, 1967, Carolyn Sue Fouse Chinn; brothers, James D. & wife, Deanna Chinn of Alexandria, and Joseph P. Chinn of Columbus, IN; sister, Rita Ann & husband, Ron Smith of Anderson; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and many special friends at Edgewater Woods.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Delmas & Odessa Mae Goff Chinn; grandparents, Cleveland & Eva Chinn and Leslie & Leatta Goff.
