Delmar “Keith” Bruce, 66, of Bloomington passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at his residence. Born May 27, 1946 in Bloomington, he was the son of Delmar A. and Mary L. (May) Bruce.
Keith was employed at RCA, he was a delivery driver for Leonard’s Linen and retired after 37 years from the Plumbing Shop in the Physical Plant at Indiana University. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #1081, the American Legion Post #18 and the AMVETS Post #2000.
Keith was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved golfing, walking, spending two evenings a week at the Moose Lodge and eating breakfast everyday at Cloverleaf.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Linda M. (Richardson) Bruce, two sons, Michael Keith Bruce (Stacy), Christopher J. Bruce (Mariah), two grandchildren, Carter Grant Cheaney and Mira May Bruce all of Bloomington, three brothers, Donald Bruce (Sophie) of Bloomfield, Jack Bruce (Mary) of Pensacola, FL, Richard Bruce of Bloomington and one sister, Linda Shields (Tim) of Solsberry. He was preceded in death by his parents.
