Della M. Doane 86, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2011
at the Vermillion Convalescent Center in Clinton. She was
born March 18, 1925 in Fairview to Sam and Lisa Davis
Kerr. She was a charter member of Phi Beta Si, and the
Canasta Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Charles
H. Doane Jr. Brothers; John, Robert, Herman, Bill, Sam,
Chuck, and Ralph. Sister; Edna. Grandson; Charles
Doane IV, and a daughter in-law; Elsa Doane.
She is survived by two sons; Charles Doane III of Clinton,
and Thane Doane and wife Joanie of Clinton. Two grand-
daughters; Julie Rice of Clinton, and Jessica Doane of
Terre Haute. Four great grandchildren, a sister In-law;
Louise Kerr of Terre Haute. Also several nieces and nephews.
