She passed away at 6:20 a.m. Friday, March 7, 2008, in her residence.
Born Dec. 11, 1939, in Linton, she was the daughter of Jeff and Mary Yeakey Wallen. She was married on March 15, 1957, in Plymouth, to Robert Lee McKinney, who preceded her in death on July 25, 1998.
A homemaker, Delima loved to help people and never turned anyone away. More than anything, she enjoyed making people laugh.
Survivors include her two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Patricia McKinney, Plymouth, and Michael and Angela McKinney, Logansport; one daughter, Nancy Kay Otwell, Pasadena, Texas; eight grandchildren: Bradley Achey, Christopher Achey, Joshua Achey, Brandon McKinney, Bobby McKinney, Heather McKinney; Jennifer Nichole McKinney and Michael Steven McKinney II; 10 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death were two sisters and eight brothers.
