Delight Ondrish, 81, of Pendleton, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis.
She was born November 20, 1931 in Indianapolis to the late Elmer and Susie (Schlechty) Plake. Delight was a 1949 graduate of Ben Davis High School and then worked as a homemaker and also retired from the Indiana Department of Revenue. She was a member of Heartland Sam’s Camping Club Chapter 76 and Petticoat Red Hats. Delight also attended St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Fortville for many years.
She is survived by her son Robert S. Ondrish of Pendleton; daughter Susan Metzger of Pendleton; grandchildren Kenny (Nikki) Metzger; Megan (Nick) Faulkenberg; Michael (Roxie) Hutson; Paul Ondrish; and Marina Ondrish; great-grandchildren Bradley and Kevin Metzger; and Miriam and Marshall Faulkenberg.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Ondrish in 2005 and her brother Hal Plake.
