Delbert H. Rahe, 82 years of age, of Beatrice, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Beatrice Health and Rehabilitation in Beatrice. He was born on May 26, 1934 in Beatrice to Henry and Anna (Hackert) Rahe. Delbert grew up in Beatrice and graduated from Beatrice High School in 1951. He served his country in the United States Army from January 10, 1957 to December 22, 1958. Delbert married Delores Sanders on April 26, 1959 in Beatrice. He worked mostly on farm equipment throughout the years. Delbert was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Beatrice.
Delbert is survived by his wife, Delores; 3 daughters, Angela Franklin and husband Sheldon of Greenville, Texas, Patricia Schenaman and husband Gary of Lincoln, Sheila Murray and husband Shawn of Crossroads, Texas; 3 grandchildren, Derek Franklin and wife Kristin, Lee Schenaman, Jennifer Schenaman; 5 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Kenneth Rahe and wife Ruth of Belleville, Kansas, Melvin Rahe of Fairbury; sister, Marjorie Huls of Beatrice; sister-in-law, Frances Steinbrook and husband Gordon of Columbus; brother-in-law, Duane Sanders and wife Sylvia of Beatrice; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and parents-in-law, Harm and Ida Sanders.
