Deidre Didi Muir, 48, of Jacksonville, IL died Wednesday, June 10, 2009, in Jacksonville.

She was born Feb. 16, 1961, in Hannibal, MO., the daughter of Tom and Karen Beezley Jaynes. She married Larry Muir on Sept. 25, 1986, in Athens, and he survives.

She is also survived by her mother of Springfield; three daughters, Jennifer (husband, Andy) Mitchell of South Jacksonville, Tiffany (husband, Randy) Roth of Norfolk, VA. and Hannah Muir of Jacksonville; two step-children, Steve Muir and Amy (husband, Steve) Minch, both of Springfield; four grandchildren, Abigail and Austin Roth and Katherine and Elizabeth Minch; one brother, Jeff (wife, Linda) Jaynes of Sherman; and one sister, Dordana Ingram of Athens.

Didi was a homemaker and a creatively gifted artist. She was a member of St Andrew’s Society of Central Illinois, and had her own business, Thistle-sticks, in connection with the Scottish Highland Games. Didi’s passions also included genealogy, her friends, and especially her family.
