Dee I. (Shanahan) Harriman, age 75, of Milford, past on peacefully Thursday, April 12, 2007 in Milford Hospital. She was born in Amsterdam, N.Y, daughter of the late Arthur Shanahan and Victoria (Opalka) Kropkowski. Mrs. Harriman worked as a Travel Consultant for several years and was very active serving as Past Queen of the Daughters of the Nile, Past Worthy Matron and Grand officer of Milford Eastern Star, Royal Matron, Order of Amaranth. She enjoyed travel and singing and was a member of the Milford Seniors Gospel Choir. Mrs. Harriman is survived by her husband of 33 years, Robert W. Harriman Sr., two daughters Karen and her husband Dennis Cooper of Duanesburg, N.Y. Celeste Lynch of West Columbia, TX., three grandchildren Abby Cooper,Jennifer Lynch, Matthew and his wife (Karyn) great grandchildren, a Sister-In-Law Francoise Jones of Stratford, NH. She was predeceased by a grandson Jason Lynch.
