Debra Morgan Williams, 65, passed away Tuesday, February 13. 2018 at her home in Newnan of pancreatic cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family. Debbie was born December 28, 1952 in Newnan to Fred H. & Josephine Morgan.
Debbie was the wife of Fred E. Williams, Jr. for 45 years and the proud mother of Kelley Brooke Williams. She graduated from Newnan High School in 1972 and earned her degree in education from the University of West Georgia. Debbie owned and operated Morgan Trophy on the square in Downtown Newnan for some 30 years.
She worked with all Coweta County schools, the Coweta County Recreation Department, and most every organization in the Coweta area to build and provide trophies, plaques, and awards for special occasions and functions. If there was a need for special recognition, she provided it with the appropriate award. Debbie is survived by her husband, Fred E. Williams, Jr.; daughter, Kelley Brooke Williams; mother, Josephine B. Morgan; her three brothers, Jim Morgan (Angie), Jeff Morgan (Camille), and Greg Morgan (Leigh). Debbie had such a deep love for her nieces and nephews as well as all her many relatives and friends.
