Debra Hardgrove, age 66, of Pocahontas and formerly of Algona passed away on September 12, 2020 at her home in Pocahontas. Debra Diane Hardgrove, the daughter of Earl and Mariel (Steven) Booth, was born on November 19, 1953 in El Paso, Texas. She graduated from Forest City High School in 1972. On September 11, 1994 Debra was united in marriage with John “Jack” Hardgrove at the First United Methodist Church in Algona. Debra was a devoted mother and wife. She took great pride in raising her family. Debra loved to collect wolf memorabilia and Indian dolls. She enjoyed being outside working in her garden and tending to her horses. Debra also rode in rodeos in her younger years. Left to cherish Debra’s memory is her children, Sharnell (Don) Jobe of Pocahontas, Mathew Becker of Wesley and Anthony (Jordann) Becker of Emmetsburg; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; her mother, Mariel France of Colorado and sisters, Vickie (Perry) Campbell of Colorado, Wanda Kunze of Colorado and Tanya (Jose) Ruybal of Colorado. She was preceded in death by her father Earl Booth and husband, Jack Hardgrove in 2018.
