Debra Faye Turner Payne, 57, of 1708 Hunters Lane, Blairs, VA, departed this earth and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 8, 2011. Born September 18, 1953 to Vivian Washburn Turner and the late Clyde J. Turner, Debra leaves behind her devoted husband and the love of her life, Morris Allen Payne, Jr. of the residence. She also leaves two very special children: daughter, Melissa Goad and husband, Glen of Ringgold, VA and son, Allen Payne and wife Annette, of Blairs, VA. She also leaves three grandchildren: Katelyn Goad, Donovan Goad and Aniston Payne, and one sister, Brenda T. Rising of Danville. Debra was a member of The Tabernacle in Danville where she was a faithful member as long as she was able to attend. She was a member of the Blue Ridge Miata Club. She received her teaching certification from Averett University, Danville, and taught for the past three years at Glenwood Magnet School for Danville Public Schools.
