Deborah Sue Moragne, 57, of South Bend, died Friday, April 27, 2012, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend. She was born in Dowagiac, Michigan on July 4, 1954, to Henry and Charles Ray (Dorsey) Collins. She was preceded in death by her mother and her brother, Henry Collins.Deborah married Steve Moragne on June 21, 1975 in Cassopolis. He survives. She loved SHOPPING, especially garage sales.
Her hobbies were decorating and redecorating, with each room having its own motif. She would always open her home to entertain.
Deborah is survived by her husband, Steve Moragne, Sr. of South Bend; two daughters,Charles Rae (Russell) White of Tacoma, Washington, Candice (Daniel) Render of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; one son, Steve Moragne, Jr. of South Bend, Indiana; her three adopted children, Desiree’ Collins, David Collins, and Michael Collins, all of South Bend, Indiana; ten grandchildren, Ashley Collins of Italy, Kyle (Juwon) Collins of Korea, Kaylin Collins of Tacoma, Washington, Daniel James Render of Indianapolis, Indiana, Lovette Basnight of Tacoma, Washington, Russell White of Tacoma, Washington, Isaiah Moragne of South Bend, Indiana, Kadin Render of Abu Dhabi, U.A.E., Mackenzie Render of Abu Dhabi, U.A.E., Landon Moragne of South Bend, Indiana; one great grandson, Romeo Collins of Korea; her father, Henry Collins of Cassopolis; seven sisters and seven brothers, a host of nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and cousins and friends.
The family is especially thankful to the care given Deborah by Nurse Practitioner Jennifer and nurse Helena.
