Deborah Anne Fitz-Gerald Ratkovic, of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away on Wednesday November 23, 2022, at the age of 74.
She was born October 14, 1948 in La Grange, IL to James and Natalie (Roy) Fitz-Gerald. Debi is survived by her husband Joseph, son Matthew, daughter-in-law Susie, grandchildren Nolan and Hannah, and sister Janice (King). While attending Southern Illinois University where she received her degree in education, she met Joseph whom she would later marry on November 10, 1973. She spent many years in retail sales management bringing joy to clients and coworkers alike with her smile and warmth.
Debi loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren. She was a good friend and a great mentor to many people. She enjoyed gardening, interior design, traveling, spending time with family, and true crime series. Debi was a proud member of the Sigma Kappa sorority and the Ynot Fitness Friends at the YMCA in Carefree, Arizona.
