Deborah Ann Windham, daughter of Carl and Nell Windham of Bartow, FL, was born at Lakeland Regional Hospital May 22, 1952 and lost her long battle with cancer at Providence Alaska Medical Center May 28, 2019. She was 67 years old. Deborah is survived by Stephanie Murphy of Lake Wales, FL (daughter), Andrew Miller of Prescott, AZ (son), Lee Windham of Tallahassee, FL (brother), Kimberly Follett of Talkeetna, AK (sister), Edie Kohl of Bartow, FL (sister), Michael Windham of St. Petersburg, FL (brother), Savannah Murphy (granddaughter), Dalton Murphy (grandson), and many dear family, friends, and piano students.

Deborah grew up in Bartow, Florida where she began piano lessons at a young age. After attending Bartow High School, she left Polk County to travel, finding herself in Prescott, AZ where she lived for over twenty years. She moved from Prescott to Talkeetna, AK 15 years ago where she managed the Talkeetna Hideaway. She continued her passion for music by teaching piano to many of the Talkeetna youth. She was active in the Talkeetna, AK musical community.

She played many piano accompaniments for the Denali Arts Council, Summerstock Theater events, school concerts, Diva Nights and virtually every other musical theater event at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar. Deborah will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
