Deborah Ann Mottley, 63, passed away Tuesday May 20, 2014 in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Franklin. Deborah was born April 5, 1951 in Evansville to Joseph O. and Mary O. (Miller) Mottley.
She was employed at Vanderburgh County Clerks office for 35 years; retiring in 2006.
Deborah enjoyed reading, jigsaw and word puzzles and watching the Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Pacers. She was a member of Turning Point Church in Franklin, where she enjoyed bible studies and visiting with her church friends.
Survivors include a brother, Donnie Mottley of Yankeetown, Indiana, niece, Vanessa Griffey of Franklin, two nephews, Brian Griffey of Evansville and Tracy Griffey of Greenwood, two great nieces, Samantha Griffey of Franklin and Crystal Hargrove of Evansville, two great nephews, Maico Griffey of Franklin and Zach Griffey of Evansville and great-great-niece, Shawnee Hargrove and two great-great-nephews, Donovan Hargrove and Alton Griffey.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Mottley, father, Joseph Mottley, sister, Donna Griffey and sister-in-law, Cindy Mottley.
