Deacon Jimmy B. Fenton was born on May, 17, 1960 in Columbus, Mississippi to Irene Smith Fenton and George Fenton.
He completed his primary education in Columbus, Mississippi and graduated from Crispus Attucks High School after his family relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana in 1975. He went on to further his education and graduated from Ivy Tech College and Indiana Wesleyan University.
He was united in Holy Matrimony to the love of his life Shay, on December 19, 1983. To their union three children were born.
He enjoyed sports Indy Car Racing, football, baseball, and basketball; he was a big fan of the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cincinnati Reds. Jimmy loved to fly and travel, always planning at least one big family vacation a year and numerous quick getaways. One of his favorite destinations was Florida. He also enjoyed roller coasters, camping, fishing, Westerns, watching the News, reclining in his chair, and listening to good music.
He departed this earthly life to be with his Heavenly Father on, December 29, 2020 at the age of 60 years, 7 months and 12 days. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John L. Fenton.
